im back fr the creative sales!! hahas.. kind of happy now.. cos i gotten myself a creative zen micro for $249!! but d down side is dat.. i got to queue up for 24 hrs..
went there wif ai ling and gt.. hehe

here is an account of wad happened tis 2 days...
DAY 1
well.. we went on d 1st day trying to get d muvo2 FM but when we arrived there.. d queue was to our horror... soooooooooooooooooooooo long... (btw.. we reach there at ermz.. 7.40am) guess there were lyk 200 over ppl in front of us!! my gosh.. and i heard that some of them started queueing 3 days in advance!! gosh!! well.. waited for abt 3 hrs for the sales to start.. in d mean time.. tis old lady came in and tok wif us and cut into d queue.. hahahs.. qt smart actually.. gei gei 1.. but she i s a very nice lady la.. very onz de.. say stay overnight den really stay wor.. very cools also... while waiting.. we actually got in d sun cos we were sitting at d corridor facing some road... lucky for ailing and i... we were behind a pillar and was partially shielded fr d sun.. hahaz.. poor gt was under d sun.. but i tink he enjoyed it ba.. rite? free sun tanning.. and woahz... it really works manz.. his hands turned color after ermz.. half an hr or so.. hahaz... after another few hrs of waiting.. d queue finally started moving... tis indian guy cut behind us and those ppl behind wasnt happy wif it... he refused to move and so... they started to throw nasty remarks at him.. cools.. d tension was so high sia... exciting... juz short of fighting only.. haiyoz.. qt scary...
hopes dashed for the muvo2.. we decide to try for zen micro... hahas..
went in to get a seat for day 2... gotten seat number 70 plus and we were lyk sooo sad and disappointed.. haiz.. knew dat its impossible to get zen micro anymore and was planning to go home after a while.. but...Miracles do happen..
while we were at seat 70+.. someone actually came up to us and offered their seats to us for free!! coolz.. so ai ling and i moved forward to seat 30 plus... once we gotten d seats.. we decided to stay on all d way.. yeaz!!
oh.. forgot to mention dat some ppl are really ermz.. entrepreneurial.. qt a lot of ppl actually went there early juz so that they can sell their seats to people at d back.. prices ranged for 50 per seats to 80 or.. 1 person even sold his for 110.. coolz... all tis ppl sia.. ask 1 whole grp of them to go juz to sell their seats... but i must admit that its really easy money.. juz got to sit there for a few hrs and u get at least $50...
at d start.. we got to sit there till they had taken down our name sia... after dat, at ard 1.. we can finally move ard.. phew.. went up to d sales and look around.. hmmm.. tried out zen micro and i was even more determined to get it sia.. d player is lyk so small and coolz sia.. i did tried listening some tracks there and i was qt amazed at d clarity and sharpness of d music it played.. woahz.. sampled it with jay chou's jian dan ai... so nice..
walk ard in d sales room for abt half an hr or so and we headed back to our seat.. cos there is tis very stupid policy dat creative imposed.. they will take attendance every 2 hrs or so and if we are not there on too many occasion, they will take our name off the list.. evil sia.. i guess they juz wants publicity ba.. if there is a sales gg on and there aint a single soul ard... tink it will look bad on them rite..
anyway.. after we went back to our seat... d auntie we met juz now had already bought food for us already... so nice... we were planning to go to d canteen at creative actually.. she bought some noodles for us and it was lyk so much sia... i cant finish it... only gt managed to finish.. hahaz.. partly also becos i dun really haf d appetite ba.. and it was REALLY a lot.. after eating we went sat there for qt some time cos dat attendance guy still wasnt there yet... grrrrr... den ai ling went off at ard 3 for her lessons.. so gd.. haiz.. left gt and i alone.. we so poor thing rite...
we back to d sales again to take a look.. they haf got qt alot of gd products on sales there sia... saw d boss of creative doing an interview wif the press.. coolz.. tis guy is smart manz.. fr d same sch as me summore.. juz dat he is many batches before mine.. hahas.. after dat went exploring in d complex.. hahas.. creative headquarter is qt nice actually... and very ermz.. anti-suicide... we went up to d roof top and ermz.. well.. i was juz rather curious and take a look at all d side of d building and ermz.. most of them has got walk ways and corridors below.. so even if one jumps fr d roof.. they will land on d next floor.. hahas
dat guy finally came to take attendance at 5+ pm... 3 hrs late!! and he said cos he haf meeting... haiyoz.. naughty.. after dat.. we got 2 hrs of free time before d next attendance taking session.. so... we decided to head over to IMM to shop ard..
its qt near to creative actually... juz a 10 mins or so walk and there we were... nothing much there la.. juz some shops and supermarkets.. nothing exciting at all.. but i saw th incredibles sell for 3 dollars lesser den other places manz.. wasted... cos i din bring so much money out dat day... din eat anything except for a macdonald cone... hahas.. cos we order mac from ai ling liaoz..
finally went back to our 'home' at 7 plus.. reached there early...
by night time.. we were rather shagged already... and there is nothing much to do anyway... hmmmm... sat down wif d aunty and chit chatted.. found her very coolz manz.. wanna get mp3 player sia.. cos she is learning singing.. woahz.. and she is not shy to ask anything dat she dunno... any qns she haf abt d player she will juz ask... so on man... we tok abt qt alot of stuff.. but i tink its mainly on travel ba.. she told us once she went to europe for 31 days... soo coolz. manz.. and its kind of cheap also.. 3000 odd only... im so jealous.. i wanna go too.. she even watched d UK production of miss Saigon... ahhhh... so jealous.... she said dat d show was really nice.. boo hoo hoo... i missed it a few yrs ago when it came... how sad...
ai ling finally came back at 10 plus.. hahas.. dinner time!! finally get to eat our dinner... but just when we had taken 1 bite into our food................. d guards came back for attendance taking... i felt lyk tis was more of detention barrack or police raid den queuing up for sales manz... pui... wads more.. they call by number de.. wads tis manz... but nvm.. at least i get to buy zen at a cheaper price... 150 cheaper to be exact...
after finishing our dinner, we took out d laptop and started watching movies.. ella enchanted... i robot... 13 gg on to 30( or sumthing lidat).. well... ai ling was d 1st to sleep... ahahz... next is me.. but i only managed to sleep for 20 mins... den gtg check attendance again... hmmmm... went ard to walk and look at stars... at ard 5 i tink... there was another checking of attendance... woahz..
after dat.. i was juz sooo shagged dat i decided to sleep on d chair all d way till d sun rises... hahaz.. so unglam rite..
DAY 2
sun rises... yeahz.. woke up at 7 plus or 8... 3 or 4 more hrs to go only... woahz... really unbelievable.. 1 whole day juz went past lidat.. ai ling woke up soon after me.. yeaz.. went to d washroom and.. my gosh...

its jus so disgusting manz.. saw sum shit in d cubicle on d toilet bowl!! i repeat.. its ON.. not inside d toilet bowl... d smell was so strong dat i almost puke manz.. got to run out of d toilet.. and i was still having d urge to puke while walking back to d seats... terrible.. how on earth did d guy miss his target manz... yucks... pity d cleaner...
well... went up to d canteen for breakfast and zoom down back to d seats.. hahas.. by tis time.. i was feeling really excited liaoz..
d time finally came and they took down our orders and gave out d coupon for our purchase item... everyone juz treat it lyk it was their life.. hehex.. kept it safely in my wallet...
finally got to go up at ard 11... ahahah... everyone was so high den.. went up to d counter and got my zen.. yeahz.. silver colour.. hehez.. most ppl were getting white though.. but i find it too plain and easy to get dirty..
emily asked me to get muvo n200 for her.. but ai ling had already asked gt to get for her friend liaoz.. haiz..
after we had all make our purchase, gt and i head home via d shuttle bus and mrt while ai ling went to meet her friend...
we opened up the zen micro box on d train and everyone was looking at us wif envy!! hahas.. im now a proud owner of zen micro sia.. hope dat it will perform well... slept while i was on d train.. looked so un-glam manz.. shagged.. reached home in a blink of an eye cos... i slept through d whole journey... hahas...
saw many things happened dat i would nave nv be able to c in my life if i choose not to stay... nv knew dat seats can also be sold... black market really exist sia.. and singaporeans can even tot of cashing in on such sales event... cools... some even asked d whole family.. including young children to go and q manz.. guess its qt gd for family bonding ba... got to know some nice ppl there as well... hahaz.. wad to do.. we got to kill time sia... so ended up chatting wif ppl ard us... tis experience is also qt nice la... queuing for sales is a new thing to me... qt fun over all.. get to socialize and get to know others better... further... can save $$ also.. hahas...
finally back at home after more den 24 hrs... but.. it doesnt feel dat long actually... happy times always pass so fast... hahas...
1st thing dat i do at home is..... no... not rip open my zen packaging... 1st thing i do is to eat!! so hungry liaoz... phew... after dat.. i opened d box and took out d unit to play wif... yeahz... emotion over whelm me... hahas... okay... i was exaggerating... but there was a tingling sense of victory sia... mess ard wif d play for a while den went to shower and sleep while d player charge up...
transferred songs over to my zen and tested d sounds and all d functions... qt gd actually... but d only problem is dat all my chinese song ID are displayed as ???... how frustrating... in d end.. i got to change d titles and artist to han yu pin yin for all my chinese songs dat i want to transfer over...
managed to solve dat problem today though... did a search in creative's forum and found d answers i needed... all i need to do is to change d settings for xp... hehex.. luckily i did nt transfer all d songs yesterday...
*zen review*
creative zen micro is overall qt a decent and gd player... in terms of design.. i would say it rox manz.. wif curves implemented in its design... its qt nice to hold on to it... d touchpad is also big enuf and could be used qt comforting in my hands... d best part of d design i would say is its blue backlit... looks really coolz.. especially in dark places... not only does d screen and touchpad lights up, d rim of d player lights up and glow in blue as well... really really mesmorised by it... for ppl who lyk their things wif uniform colors though.. it might be a bad news to them.. cos d sides and back of d player are all white in color.. no matter which color u choose... therefore... as far as wad i had seen at d promotion, some of them actually look pretty disgusting... i went for d silver 1... cos its d closest to white but not as easy to get dirty as white...
d player also came wif a earphone and a wired remote.. but.. those 2 were really kind of ugly... especially d remote.. dun tink i will be using it... dats d only downside in terms of design ba..
user friendly? guess not... d main problem however does not lies wif its menu or d ways to get d player to function or buttons layout... d main problem is dat.. d touchpad was juz way to sensitive... juz give i a light touch and u would have pressed something already... i found myself pressing it accidentally or scroll over d option i wanted cos of d sensitivity of d touchpad.. even when i place d player in my pocket, it considered touching my thigh as my fingers pressing sia.. coolz...
transferring of songs was fairly easy.. juz got to install d software dat came along wif it and there u go... all ready to start... transfer time was pretty fast as well.. 60 mb of songs took less den 30 sec...
the battery is removable.. which means dat even if d bat dies off.. u can juz go down to d shop and get urself a replacement.. or if u r traveling... juz get an extra battery sia... its a very nice concept... a great move by creative...
hmmm.. in terms of music and sound ya... it delivered qt well.. up to my expectation ba... clear sound... wif each instrument clearly defined... sounded so much better den my laptop... even when they were both using d same speaker... luv it...
before i actually got d player.. i always tot dat 5 gb might be a little too much for me.. but.. oh manz.. now i found it kind of small... after i had finished transferring all chinese songs dat i wanted, 1 gb was gone.. i still haf my english songs... musicals.. soundtracks to go sia.. wonder if there is enuf space for me... haiz.. maybe i will juz transfer less songs ba... when i told gt abt how much songs i transferred over... tink he is pretty shocked ba.. hahaz.. asked me nt to abuse my player...
d player do come wif a lot of other side functions as well sia... FM radio... if u r ever bored of d songs u recorded inside... u can tune in to d FM... it even allow d user to record fr d FM... but its kind of lag though.. recording starts only after a few seconds due to d time needed for d hard drive to respond.. recording of voice is also available... but i heard dat its not very sensitive... not too sure.. hasnt tried it out yet... guess it will be gd for lectures or meetings... but doubt dat anyone will ever use it for dat reason... who cares abt lectures... hahaz...
has alarm as well.. but i doubt i will use it.. dun tink songs can wake me up... and haf got to plug it into a speaker rite... cant possibly sleep wif d zen in d ear... maybe its useful in some occasions.. but not to wake one up fr sleep ba...
zen can display time as well... useful for those ppl who doesnt wear a watch lyk me...
got calendar and organizer too.. can even sync it wif windows so dat any changes to it will be updated as well...
hmmmm.. well... guess dats abt all i wanted to say abt zen.. a few minor details dat i left out... but... nvm la.. small details lyk eg.. how great zen looks on d table stand dat was provided...
well... im now using my zen micro as though its a hi-fi now.. opps.. shall try to cut down d amt of time using it... got to let it rest ya...
tmr will be d time to for me study already.. sianz.. but i should really study hard liaoz.. papa and mama so nice.. sponser me d money to buy zen...
