Holiday has finally came to an end. What a short one it is! Over in a flash. Sad. Tomorrow marks the start of my working life. Internship. Exciting? haha.
This 1 week holiday was pretty fulfilling. Went down to zoo on tuesday.
It was rather fun initially till the sky turns dark and it rained! not just drizzled, it actually poured! And we had only two umbrella and the zoo has no shelter. How pathetic. Everyone ended up drenced in the rain water by the time we reach the entrence of the zoo. And as i had predicted, the rain stopped soon after we got there. haha. Its always like dat.
paid a visit to the doc on wed and it set me back by $190!! So broke already!
thurs was town expo and changi airport! Comex was pretty alright. Nothing for me to get, thus i found it a little uninteresting. But maxonline is giving away free Xbox 360 to the 1st 100 customers. I thought its a gd deal initially. Sigh. But have to sign 2 yrs contract and its a basic set that doesnt even include a harddrive. Means i have to buy lots of add ons. Wasted. Went to changi airport to have dinner. Swordfish collar at fish and Co was pretty gd! thought the price is a little steep. Its been a long time since i went changi airport and my 1st time viewing the gallery! hahah. No photos though cos i forgot to bring my camera.
Went back to expo again on friday. This time with my parents. Got a new dvd Writer and 2 new phones. Not Handphone la. Cordless Phones for my room!
Finally meet up with zy and yk on sat.
Went towning again. Had pepperLunch for lunch. haha. Its a fantastic meal! Walked along orchard road after that and the trees were decorated with polka dots! kind of cool hur. Went Sunshine plaza (the 1 near PS) after that and ty and yk decided to have wanton mee!! Its only been awhile since we had our lunch and they r hungry already? oh my! But i gave in to temptation too la. The smell is simply fantastic lor. And the stall was featured in the channel U bryan wong's food show.
The wanton mee was qt gd! I detest wanton mee most of the time, thx to the horrible wanton mee that i tried long ago near my hse. This 1 is actually not bad! Though its not fantastic in my opinion, for a person that really hates wanton mee, nt bad should mean very good to everyone else.
Continued our journey to suntec after our sumptuous meal. Met sc sf and wk at suntec city. haha. Shopped at Toys "R" Us for a while and took a foto there.
Went down to esplanade and took even more fotos
waited for HC to arrive before we went to have our dinner. Slacked ard at esplanade b4 that and i was forced to listen to wu niang by jolin tsai over and over again. Sigh.
We had our dinner at marina square's food court. I ordered a bowl of yong tau fu. Wrong choice!
Look at the amount of chilli old in the curry!! thick and bleeding red! Its the hotest, spiciest and craziest Yong Tau fu i had ever tasted in my entire life! I was dripping in sweat after i finished the entire bowl. aaaww!
It's time for bakerzin after dinner!
The place has a great atmosphere and wonderful desert too! We chose the seaside seats and started crapping while enjoying the amazingly delicious cakes from bakerzin. Its really good! Too bad the store is moving to vivo city soon. So far away!
Ate so much on saturday. 5 meals!! haha.. Went to get my pants and shirts for work today. Hope everything goes well for the next half a year or so! I dun wanna be deported back to sch! Muz pass all my modules!! everyone pray for me!!!!
