N95 Review !

As all might know.. i bought a really really cool but expensive phone recent. The nokia N95! and i dont regret at all! its beyond my expectation! very good phone. Did not have any of the problems that was mentioned in the various forums that i visited while researching about the phone.

After opening the box, i was greeted with 'here's your nokia N95, how nice.

The packaging comes with everything that i need. So much that we had problem bargaining with the shopkeeper for freebies cos everything is inside already. haha. 1gb card, screen protector, pouch and much more!

There were lots of features which took me 1 whole week to explore. haha. First and the most cool of all is the GPS system! Full voice navigation and stuff! and its quite accurate too.

The first time i tried connecting it to the satalitte took really really long. like 5 to 10 mins or so even after i slide out the number pad as instructed by the manual; as the radar or wadever u wanna call it is below the number pad. but after that, connection was a breeze taking only 1 to 2 mins. but still slow by full fledge gps system's standard, and it gets disconnected easily indoor and even in buses. but still.. its just a phone la. mustnt be too picky. 1 thing i hate about the GPS progamme though is that it kept shouting 'GPS SIGNAL NOT AVAILABLE!!!' everytime i on it. So paiseh if im in crowded areas la. Otherwise i would say the GPS function in N95 is really good! good enuf for me to find places im unfamilar with. haha. too bad i cant take it to the resort island...

And of course the super hyped up but good nontheless 5mp camera!

Photos taken with the phone was rather clear. daylight shots in bright light were just a notch lousier than my 6 megapixals sony camera! Night and dark shots however were not as good though, due to the lack of a proper flash. but im not complaining, camera phones are for candid shots afterall. My sony camera cannot be discarded yet.

some scenery shots from N95.

The sound clarity is much much better den my old phone. always straining to hear what the other side of the listen is saying. Sound quality of mp3 or videos on the stereo speakers were rather good too but especially so on earphones. I always listen to my phone's mp3s or radio at work. haha. helps to kill time. The good thing about this phone is that it uses normal headphones unlike previous models which requires nokia headset with weird plugs.

As with all phones, my N95 can last barely 2 days with GPS, radio, wifi, sms and chatting on the phone. but its a good phone la. pretty satisfied with it.
